Terms and Conditions

When you, as a participant, purchase a ticket from Stichting NC 2025 JCI Ede, with Chamber of Commerce number: 95335536 (hereinafter: JCI) for the JCI NC 2025 in Ede at various locations such as the Park Paviljoen (hereinafter locations), the following terms and conditions apply between us.
If you purchase the ticket for another person, you guarantee that you are authorized to represent them, that you may pass on your/the participant's details, and that you are responsible for ensuring that the participant complies with these terms and conditions. You also offer full compensation for any damage caused by the participant.
Participation
Participation in the JCI National Convention 2025 (hereinafter: NC2025) in Ede is only possible by ordering a ticket in your name at the price and (any) surcharges via this website. Various tickets are available, offering the opportunity to attend the specified parts of NC2025, ranging from the entire conference to a selection of parts.
The ticket does not entitle the holder to participate in any activities other than those specified on the ticket and for which payment has been made. Unless explicitly stated, the ticket does not include any food, drinks, goods, or services purchased by the participant during NC2025. Such costs are the responsibility of the participant, not JCI.
In some cases, the email from JCI serves as a ticket. As a participant, you must print out the ticket or email yourself and bring it with you to NC2025. If a participant does not attend parts of NC2025 that are included in the purchased ticket, no refund will be given. Participation is only complete once the participant has paid for the ticket. Purchasing a ticket in any way implies that you, as/for the participant, accept the applicability of these terms and conditions. Participants must book their own accommodation.
Recording of sound and images
Participants in NC2025 are aware that sound and image recordings will be made and that they may be recorded. You explicitly and irrevocably agree that image and/or sound recordings will be made of people (and therefore possibly of you/the participant) during and around the event and that these will be distributed or exploited via all possible forms of media, for example for reporting via social media or the press regarding NC2025 and (other events of) JCI and for an indefinite period by/for the JCI Netherlands association. JCI and the JCI Netherlands association will endeavor to ensure that participants are portrayed in a reasonable manner, without participants or you being entitled to royalties or compensation. JCI does not sell such photos and film recordings to third parties for commercial purposes.
Personal data
Personal data provided by the participant when purchasing a ticket will be used to realize NC2025 and related activities. Personal data will also be used for communication with participants, to send information and documents, and for administrative purposes.
Participants in the conference are aware that their name and room will be listed on badges, attendance lists, and participant lists. They agree to the inclusion of their name and room on these lists. In addition, their email address will be used for correspondence, providing information, and for the members' meeting of the JCI Netherlands association, which will take place during NC2025.
JCI (and relevant locations) will process personal data carefully, in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. JCI strives to provide an appropriate level of protection but cannot guarantee that the measures it has taken will prevent loss or unlawful processing by unauthorized persons under all circumstances. JCI will handle any request or objection regarding the personal data of a participant or data subject in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
Cancellation of conference by participants
Cancellation must be made in writing (via email to info@jci-ede.nl) and is possible free of charge up to eight weeks before the start of the conference. For a valid/timely cancellation, it is crucial that the request is received and approved in time, which will be confirmed by email by JCI. Confirmation and approval or rejection will take place within a reasonable period of time. Between eight and four weeks before the start of the conference, 50% of the costs will be charged in case of cancellation. For cancellations four weeks or less before the start of the conference, 100% of the costs will be charged.
If you are unable to attend, you may send another person to participate in the conference, provided that you notify JCI in advance (by email at info@jci-ede.nl) and JCI has given its approval. This is separate from the regulations governing the meeting.
Cancellation of conference by the organization
Cancellation of the conference The organization has made every effort to make NC2025 a successful event but reserves the right to change or cancel the program for valid reasons or due to force majeure. This includes, but is not limited to, the right to suspend the execution of your order at its discretion or to terminate the agreement without judicial intervention. Force majeure is understood to mean any shortcoming that cannot be attributed to JCI, because it is not due to its fault and is not for its account under the law, legal act, or generally accepted practice, for example, due to shortcomings of JCI's suppliers or government measures.
If this occurs, participants will be notified as soon as possible. If the conference is canceled, any participation fees already paid will be refunded in full as soon as possible. In the event of force majeure, Participants cannot derive any rights to compensation or reimbursement from JCI, nor is JCI obliged to do so in any way, unless this would be unacceptable in the given circumstances according to standards of reasonableness and fairness.
Special provisions, liability
Participants must behave as good and orderly visitors to events and comply with instructions given by or on behalf of JCI or by staff at the location where NC2025 takes place or any part of the Event, including the competition, as well as by the competent authorities, with regard to the house rules, safety, and the fair conduct of the competition.
Participants visit and participate in NC2025 entirely at their own risk. JCI will not be liable for any damage incurred by participants during travel to or from the event, activities, or attendance thereof. JCI is not responsible for securing or insuring participants' belongings; participants are entirely responsible for this themselves.
Participants shall ensure that the potential adverse effects of the NC2025 on the surroundings and the environment are prevented and limited as much as possible. Waste liquids, parts, materials, and objects must be taken away by the participant or deposited in the designated waste containers. If any nuisance, damage, or accident occurs, the participant is obliged to report this immediately to JCI and/or the location, providing all relevant information and cooperating in resolving the issue. Any damage found will be recovered from the participants involved.
Although JCI does its utmost, it does not guarantee access to and organization of NC2025, its continuation, progress, and content of components, nor for refreshments provided by venues or others, nor for the course of events in and around the venue, and cannot be held liable for this, unless there is demonstrable intent and deliberate recklessness on the part of JCI.
General provisions
These terms and conditions and all legal relationships between JCI and you/the participant are governed exclusively by Dutch law. The organization is entitled to unilaterally amend these Terms and Conditions. In that case, the organization will notify the participant of the changes in a timely manner. There will be at least one month between this notification and the entry into force of the amended terms and conditions. If the amendment results in the participant being provided with a service that differs substantially from the original service, this participant has the right to terminate the agreement as of the date on which the amended terms and conditions come into force.
This website has been compiled with the utmost care, but the conference organizers accept no liability for any errors. This also means that JCI cannot be held liable for incorrect price information, such as obvious typographical or printing errors. No rights can be derived from incorrect price information.
